It’s been just over a week now, so I think it is fair to say we made it. Last Friday we headed to Super Target (or “the toy store” as TLG calls it) and picked up a big boy toy. We traded our pacis for this super cool ship, equipped with a landing pad for our new “talking planes.” The pacis went to a little baby desperately in need of some, ;) and I’m sure she us thoroughly enjoying them. The transition was awfully sad. Lots of whines about not wanting to grow up and not liking the dentist– both of which are sentiments I heartily agree with. But the complaints have gradually subsided.
He was pretty excited to stumble upon some leftover Easter candy a couple of days ago… He called it his paci candy. Goofball.
